About the position

The position involves managing the Electronic Fire Alarm and Security delivery process at Johnson Controls, ensuring high customer satisfaction while maximizing operational efficiencies and controlling costs. Responsibilities

  • Manage the Electronic Fire Alarm and Security delivery process to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with sales to analyze customer requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Oversee project engineering, project management, order entry, and installation support.
  • Ensure effective communication with customers from order to warranty period.
  • Maintain fiscal responsibility by operating within an approved financial plan.
  • Manage installation requirements including material purchasing and project scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate safety programs and conduct workplace accident investigations.
  • Empower and develop local installation staff into a cohesive team.
  • Identify training needs to enhance district capabilities.
  • Ensure legal compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in management of district operation activities and fire sprinkler industry experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend financial statements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in business or engineering preferred.
  • Must obtain and retain NICET Level II Certification or higher within the first 12 months.
  • Demonstrated management/leadership abilities including training and team building.
  • Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal codes required.
  • Proficient with MS Office and online systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Electronic Fire Alarm and Security Operations Leadership experience preferred.
  • Previous P&L management experience a plus.
