About the position

Responsibilities

• Install, program, troubleshoot, configure, commission, and service Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control, and CCTV Systems.
• Respond promptly to customer service calls and efficiently troubleshoot and repair systems as needed.
• Communicate with central dispatch regarding work order status and updates on customer issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and operational manuals.
• Supervise and inspect the installation of equipment to meet specifications.
• Complete necessary certification courses on internal and external products used.
• Submit all required documentation related to tasks and activities in a timely manner.

Requirements

• 3+ years of documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety Systems, Access Control, CCTV, and Security Systems.
• Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and operational manuals.
• Experience with hand tools, test equipment, multi-meters, and commissioning devices.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including carrying equipment up to 50-70 lbs.
• Ability to work in difficult positions such as climbing ladders and working in crawl spaces.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Two-year associate degree in Electronics, Network, Computer Science, or related field.
• NICET level II certification or ability to obtain it within the first year.
