About the position

The Fire Life Safety Director at Doyle Security Services is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of clients and their facilities in New York City. This role involves overseeing fire safety protocols, conducting facility tours, and managing access control issues. The position requires a valid Fire Life Safety Director License and a Security Guard License, along with relevant experience in a hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct multiple tours of the facility during each shift.
• Operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Interact cordially and communicate effectively with the public.
• Utilize proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
• Identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
• Assist residents/customers with access control issues.

Requirements

• Must have a valid T-89 or F89 FDNY Fire Life Safety Director License.
• Must have a valid NY State Security Guard License.
• Minimum of 2 years of Hotel Fire Life Safety Director experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to understand and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
• Technical working knowledge of building systems is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Associate or higher degree in a fire/security related field (preferred, not required).
• Protective security experience.
