About the position

The Fire Products Sales Territory Manager for the California Region is responsible for driving channel sales of Siemens Fire Products. This remote position requires the manager to develop and maintain relationships with partners, contractors, and end-users, focusing on strategic business planning and account development to meet sales targets. The role emphasizes becoming a trusted advisor in fire safety solutions and involves significant travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new Partner prospects within the third-party channel of the territory.
  • Drive profitable growth through strategic business planning and account development to meet or exceed channel sales targets.
  • Provide strategic business development and onboarding of new partners.
  • Present, promote, and sell Fire Safety solutions to existing and prospective Partners, Contractors, Engineers, and End-Users.
  • Develop a proactive response to customer needs and business priorities utilizing Siemens resources.
  • Monitor sales activity and conduct regular business reviews.
  • Become a trusted advisor and solution provider to partners by demonstrating industry knowledge and fire safety portfolio expertise.
  • Assist the Product Development team with new product rollouts including training and supporting documents.
  • Perform to plan and drive a 'bottoms up' forecast.
  • Set weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals for overall sales and other sales metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years' experience with Fire Alarm and Safety Products
  • 5+ years' experience selling direct to customer or end-user
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
