About the position

The Regional Operations Manager for the Northeast Region at Impact Fire Services is a senior leadership role responsible for driving operational performance across multiple district offices. This position focuses on building high-performing teams, fostering business growth, and achieving financial performance goals within the fire protection and life safety industry. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to motivate teams to exceed operational and customer satisfaction targets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage operations across the Northeast U.S. Region, including offices in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey.
  • Achieve financial, operational, and customer satisfaction goals established by senior leaders.
  • Lead and support district teams to achieve performance goals.
  • Retain and motivate district teams to ensure high performance.
  • Drive growth through new business development and acquisitions.
  • Manage acquisition growth and integrations effectively.
  • Oversee Profit & Loss (P&L) statements for all districts within the region.
  • Facilitate regular district meetings for coordination and financial status monitoring.
  • Closely manage revenue and cost control, addressing any budgetary deficiencies.
  • Foster and enforce a safe work environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a supervisory or management role with multi-state/multi-location experience.
  • A four-year college degree in construction management, engineering, or business administration is preferred.
  • Successful multi-location management experience within the Fire Life Safety or Fire Protection industry.
  • Experience driving business growth and efficiencies.
  • Managing Profit & Loss (P&L) statements for multiple districts and locations.
  • Ability to recruit, build, motivate, and retain top talent.
  • Well-developed interviewing and hiring skills.
  • Experience driving acquisitions and managing integrations.
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout the region, including overnight lodging.
  • Passion for team safety and ability to prioritize safe work operations.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to drive business growth.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to develop employees.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements.
  • High level of customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision required.
  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and quick learning ability.
  • Strong working knowledge of NFPA codes.
