About the position

In this role, you will be responsible for following all OSHA standards and laws while attending regular development meetings to enhance your skills and knowledge. You will address limitations of technologies and materials involved in the CAD process, incorporating feedback into 3D model designs and making revisions as requested. Running simulations and stress-tests on all 3D models before prototyping is a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring that designs are robust and reliable. You will keep up to date on all modern advancements in material and software technologies, pursuing ongoing education in the field to stay ahead of industry trends. Utilizing large databases of material property information, you will select the best materials for modeling. Your design responsibilities will include plumbing drawings, as-built drawings, and site water supplies design and testing. You will also re-create new (MEP) and structural drawings under existing conditions for design coordination, ensuring that all designs are accurate and meet client specifications. Reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and MEP drawings will be essential, as you will provide accurate electrical schematics per client conditions. Analyzing and tracking technical specifications, including dimensions, arrangements, and installation procedures, will be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will analyze and verify all hydraulic calculations to ensure adequate water delivery in the event of a fire condition emergency. This role may also involve performing other duties assigned by management, contributing to a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-year degree in related field (preferred).
  • Bachelor's or Certifications (preferred).
  • At least 2 years of experience utilizing CAD software.
  • Minimum 2 years working in a professional environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • An abundance of patience to see a complicated project to the end.
  • Ability to think in a three-dimensional manner.
