The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in accordance with local codes and industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of fire sprinkler technology and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, ensuring that all work performed meets the highest standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Install and test fire sprinkler systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on existing fire sprinkler systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and meet current codes and standards.
  • Repair and replace fire sprinkler components, including pipes, fittings, and valves.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks, including calipers and tube bending equipment.
  • Perform welding and soldering tasks using stick welding.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire sprinkler systems, including identifying and correcting leaks and other malfunctions.
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and construction professionals to ensure the safe and efficient installation of fire sprinkler systems.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Fire Sprinkler Technician or in a related field.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and fire sprinkler standards.
  • Strong understanding of fire sprinkler technology and system components.
  • Familiarity with welding and soldering techniques, including stick welding.
  • Experience working with hand and power tools, including calipers and tube bending equipment.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, or crawling.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
