About the position
AB FIRE EQUIPMENT is seeking a Fire Suppression Technician to install, inspect, and repair kitchen fire suppression systems and fire extinguishers. The role requires communication skills to interact with employees and customers effectively. The technician will work with various fire suppression systems and must have at least one year of experience, along with the necessary Florida state permits.
Responsibilities
- Installing kitchen fire suppression systems
- Inspecting and testing fire extinguishers
- Repairing fire suppression systems
- Communicating effectively with employees and customers
- Working with systems manufactured by Ansul, Pyro-Chem, Amerex, Buckeye, and KIDDE/Range Guard.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in fire extinguisher/system maintenance
- Florida state pre-engineered systems permit
- Florida state portables permit
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with power tools
