About the position

The Firearms Specialist at EZCORP is responsible for managing the firearms department, ensuring compliance with ATF guidelines, and driving profitability through buying, selling, and loaning firearms. This role requires extensive knowledge of firearms, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to train team members on proper firearm handling and transactions. Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the firearms department including buying, selling, and loaning firearms.
• Complete all 4473 forms and ensure compliance with ATF guidelines.
• Evaluate the value of firearms presented as collateral.
• Oversee merchandising, pricing, and inventory controls for firearms and accessories.
• Meet or exceed financial targets set for the firearms department.
• Establish meaningful relationships with customers.
• Train team members on proper handling and transactions involving firearms.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service/sales and firearms experience.
• Knowledge of federal/state firearms regulations.
• Ability to pass a criminal and ATF background check and drug test.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Experience with 4473s is a plus.
• Sales background is a plus.
• Bilingual is a plus.
