About the position

The FIRES/AFATDS Systems Analyst position at F2 Systems, LLC involves providing advanced C4I systems expertise support to the Fleet Marine Force (FMF). The role requires extensive knowledge in C4I systems integration, operational employment, and troubleshooting, serving as a critical link between government personnel and C4I systems subject matter experts. Analysts will be responsible for ensuring that support capabilities meet the operational needs of the FMF, adhering to quality assurance standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote and onsite advanced C4I systems expertise support to the Fleet Marine Force (FMF).
  • Possess the technical ability to troubleshoot, identify issues, administer systems, install software and hardware, and provide technical guidance.
  • Support at least two currently fielded C4I systems.
  • Support CONUS, OCONUS, exercise, and contingency requirements.
  • Develop and document innovative and effective solutions to support the FMF.
  • Perform C4I system analysis and diagnostics; system set-up in garrison and tactical environments.
  • Develop trend analysis reports and metrics.
  • Perform triage analysis to identify and prioritize requests.
  • Respond to elevated user requests by collecting, analyzing, providing solutions, and ensuring incidents and requests are recorded and tracked.
  • Lead incident research teams and mentor Tier 2 Analysts.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies.
  • Author training documentation.
  • Work with teams to assess issues and provide resolution.

Requirements

  • DOD Active Security Clearance (minimum Secret) Required.
  • 5+ years in a relevant field.
  • Experience with AN/PRS-11 Portable Receive Suite.
  • Experience with USMC fires systems, such as AFATDS, JADOCS, G/ATOR (GB-2), FTAS a plus.
  • Experience with networking equipment including Cisco switches and routers.
  • Strong active listening, data entry, and documentation skills.
  • Experience writing technical solutions and commercial knowledgebase articles.
  • Intermediate analytical and troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and consistent resolution of IT problems.
  • Willing to work in a 24x7x365 secured environment, demonstrate intuitive problem-solving skills, and allow for flexible scheduling.
