Gulf Islands Waterpark is the premier family entertainment destination on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Featuring miles of slides and fun, we provide a great summer time getaway for visitors from all over the nation. We are conveniently located in the Gulfport Sportsplex where families come to play. We strive to live balanced lives in work, love and play. This position focuses on providing first aid care for our guests and great customer service. First Aid employees provide basic first aid to guests/employees as needed. The ideal candidate should maintain sound working knowledge of first aid including treatments, new procedures, and continuing education credits (CEU's), first aid and CPR certifications as required. They are also able to work in a high-speed, highly stressful environment with rapidly changing scenarios and able to accomplish tasks in a timely and efficient manner, along with keeping the first aid room clean and ready for use at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic first aid to guests and employees as needed.
  • Maintain a sound working knowledge of first aid treatments and new procedures.
  • Ensure first aid and CPR certifications are up to date as required.
  • Work efficiently in a high-speed, highly stressful environment.
  • Keep the first aid room clean and ready for use at all times.

Requirements

  • First Aid and BLS certification required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience as an EMT, Nurse, or equivalent training.
