About the position

The Brand Sales Manager at IBM is a leadership role focused on driving collaboration, innovation, and growth within a team of Technology Brand Sales Specialists and external partners. This position requires ownership and accountability for a designated book of business, executing strategies that deliver value to clients while fostering a supportive and fast-paced sales environment. The role emphasizes the importance of building trusted relationships with clients and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with IBM's business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, understanding their business challenges and objectives.
  • Drive the sales pipeline from lead generation to closure, ensuring timely and accurate forecasting and qualification of opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align sales efforts with overall business strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market developments to inform sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Expertise in the Data & AI market to serve as a trusted client advisor.
  • Multiple years of Sales Leadership experience at either IBM or similar space.
  • Experience with leading both enterprise and commercial sales teams.
  • Experience leading teams of a minimum of 8-10 people.
  • Proven track record of past success managing 9-10 figure annual targets.
