About The Position

The First Mile Transportation Capabilities Analyst II role at Nike focuses on bridging operations and technology within the complex supply chain. This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining tools and capabilities that support the first mile landscape, ensuring smooth operations from origin vendors to distribution centers. The analyst serves as the primary support for the operations team, facilitating communication between business operations and technical teams, and driving capability building programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 2 years directly relevant work experience.
  • First Mile Transportation Operations experience, including air, ocean, and intermodal shipments.
  • Proven track record in program and change management.
  • Dynamic storytelling and ability to influence without direct authority.
  • End-to-end strategic thinking.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong technical skills in SAP and Blue Yonder TMS.
  • Experience with other database systems.
  • Strong Excel and MS suite tools proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for Transportation system troubleshooting, including validation of EDI message receipts and error messages review and resolutions.
  • Act as a bridge between operations and technical teams.
  • Review data as needed in Transportation Management and other relevant systems.
  • Advise on fixes and enhancements within the logistics systems.
  • Test with carriers and other third parties.
  • Reach out to other groups to explain fixes or provide detailed error information.
  • Monitor Transportation System Performance and data flow to ensure data accuracy from LSP/Carriers.
  • Maintain master data within transportation systems such as LSP allocations.
  • Evaluate and recommend new opportunities for enhancing software, hardware, and IT processes.
  • Support testing for System Enhancements such as new LSP integrations and capabilities.
  • Maintain required documentation to support system processes.
  • Build effective relationships with key partners across the supply chain.
