About the position

The First Notice of Loss Representative serves as the initial point of contact for customers at Cable Insurance, providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the claims process. This role involves handling incoming calls and emails, entering information into the claims system, and assisting customers with their inquiries. The position offers on-the-job training and peer mentoring, making it accessible to individuals without prior insurance experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide superior and responsive customer service in a call center environment.
  • Receive incoming calls and emails from customers regarding claims.
  • Enter information into the claims system to initiate the claims handling process.
  • Answer customer questions and provide information when possible, directing requests to the appropriate departments as necessary.

Requirements

  • 1 year of customer service or call center experience required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette.
  • Good typing skills - 25 WPM with 95% accuracy required.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
