About the position
Quad is seeking a First Shift Shipping & Receiving Technician to join our team in Franklin, WI. This role is essential for managing the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring that materials are accurately received, organized, and dispatched. The technician will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the efficiency of our operations and supporting our commitment to client success.
Responsibilities
- Physically receive materials into facilities and reconcile item numbers and quantities to purchase orders.
- Update inventory system with items, quantities, and locations.
- Unload finished goods from intercompany shipments and place them in the correct locations.
- Pull orders for finished goods, stage them for shipment, and load trucks.
- Transport finished goods to the warehouse and organize them according to the inventory system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shipping and receiving areas and the warehouse facility.
- Perform housekeeping and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Complete other projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of Shipping and Receiving Experience preferred.
- 3 or more years of experience in material handling, forklift operation, and inventory control.
- Ability to operate a pallet jack, forklift, and other powered industrial trucks.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in performing basic math calculations.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good verbal and written comprehension skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds continuously and stand for long hours.

- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
