About the position

The FIS Business Systems Analyst/Senior FIS Business Systems Analyst position at UW Health is a critical role that involves leading and completing regularly scheduled update procedures for Finance applications. This includes evaluating new features and functions, conducting regression testing, and providing support to ensure the applications function optimally. The analyst will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of actual, planning, and budget data through thorough audits, reconciliations, and variance reporting. Additionally, the role requires the development of source data inputs, data mappings, and validation strategies to maintain necessary controls within the financial systems. In this position, the analyst will also lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve system issues and will be involved in developing and maintaining application content. The role is designed for individuals who are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, as they will be working with complex financial data and systems. The position offers the flexibility of remote work from most states, which will be discussed during the interview process. The work schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life environment. Responsibilities

  • Lead and complete regularly scheduled update procedures for Finance applications including evaluation of new features and functions, regression testing, and support.
  • Ensure accuracy of actual, planning, and budget data through audits, reconciliations, and variance reporting.
  • Develop source data inputs, data mappings, and validation strategies to ensure controls are maintained.
  • Lead in troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
  • Lead in developing and maintaining application content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Four (4) years of experience in technical support or application support in financial data-based environments may be considered in lieu of the degree for FIS Business Systems Analyst.
  • Two (2) years technical and functional experience in Finance modules and/or relevant operations experience for FIS Business Systems Analyst.
  • Three (3) years technical and functional experience in Finance modules and/or relevant operations experience for Senior FIS Business Systems Analyst.
  • Four (4) years of experience in technical support or application support in financial data-based environments may be considered in lieu of the degree for Senior FIS Business Systems Analyst.
