About the position

The FISE Technical Supervisor (Account Manager) at Tenaris is responsible for overseeing technical operations within the Field Services department in the Midland, TX region. This role involves supporting team members with technical needs, ensuring compliance with new technical documents, leading training sessions, and facilitating communication between field service representatives and the technical department. The supervisor will also conduct meetings, provide on-the-job training, and assist in the implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs.

Responsibilities

  • Support the team on day-to-day technical needs and provide advice.
  • Stay updated with new instructions, procedures, and guidelines, and communicate them to the team.
  • Ensure all Field Service Representatives (FSR) understand new technical documents released.
  • Lead regular technical meetings to introduce new information and gather local needs.
  • Conduct pre and post-job meetings, logging any irregularities encountered.
  • Provide feedback on anomalies to the technical department using the anomaly feedback form.
  • Perform RAS and TAS jobs while providing on-the-job training to the team.
  • Assist in replacing the Field Service Director (FSD) or Field Service Manager (FSM) during their absence.
  • Report experience and training of local FSR to the HSE and people development department.
  • Review FSR job reports for clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Represent Tenaris at relevant meetings such as 'drilling on paper'.
  • Support the FSM and HSE Department in the development and improvement of the HSE program.
  • Answer technical queries received through the FISE mailbox.

Requirements

  • Experience in technical supervision or account management in a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and train a team effectively.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
