About The Position

The Fishing Sales Outfitter at Bass Pro Shops is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support in the retail environment. This role involves greeting customers, assisting with product knowledge, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. The Sales Outfitter is also tasked with maintaining merchandise displays and restocking items as needed, while promoting various store programs.

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge all customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Provide information, assistance, and direction to customers.
• Demonstrate products to customers and assist with buying decisions.
• Replenish product on shelves according to merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of advertised sales and ensure accurate pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal merchandise moves and restock as required.
• Keep work area clean, neat, and well-stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Promote store programs including CLUB Membership and In-Store Pick-up.
