About the position

The Fitness Advisor role at Alter is designed for individuals passionate about health, wellness, and fitness, who are eager to engage in sales within a dynamic startup environment. This position focuses on generating revenue through a full sales cycle, utilizing provided leads to connect with customers and help them achieve their wellness goals through personalized fitness plans and DNA insights. The role emphasizes building relationships, understanding customer needs, and effectively communicating the benefits of Alter's offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue through end-to-end sales cycle, utilizing provided leads.
  • Present DNA reports to customers and advise on wellness goals.
  • Reach out to warm leads to set up DNA Summary phone consultations.
  • Establish rapport through thoughtful conversation to understand customer expectations and fitness goals.
  • Explain and demonstrate features of Alter products and services.
  • Communicate with customers using multiple channels including phone, email, and text.
  • Manage leads and pipeline with consistent and efficient follow-up.

Requirements

  • Sales and account management experience (nice to have).
  • Must be very coachable and motivated, even without prior sales experience.
  • Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook email.
  • Basic web navigation skills.
  • Salesforce and/or Twilio experience (nice to have).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to overcome objections to meet sales goals.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales and account management.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and/or Twilio.
