About the position
The position at Ochsner Health involves providing excellent customer service to members and guests while enforcing company policies. The role includes performing front desk duties and supervising children in various activities, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all participants. The individual will be responsible for maintaining knowledge of programs and services offered, as well as handling cash and bookings.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by welcoming and interacting with members and guests.
- Proactively solve problems and address member concerns.
- Remain knowledgeable about all programs and services, including Membership, Kidsports, Childcare, Gymnastics, Group fitness training, and Aquatics.
- Enforce all fitness center policies and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform cash handling and booking tasks, and supervise children in scheduled areas of the facility.
- Complete other related duties as required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age and enrolled in High School.
- Preferred: 1 year of customer service experience.
- Required: CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
- Must have computer skills for data entry and retrieval of information.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Windows-style applications and various software packages specific to the role.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated.
