About the position

The Fitness Center Attendant at Villanova University is responsible for providing a welcoming environment for facility users, ensuring the safe and effective use of fitness equipment, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the fitness center. This role involves direct interaction with users, enforcing facility policies, and performing various duties to support the campus recreation program.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, greet and provide friendly assistance to facility users.
• Provide safe and effective instructions on the operation of all cardiovascular and weight training equipment.
• Inspect, maintain and clean all exercise equipment.
• Inform facility users of various Campus Recreation announcements.
• Enforce all facility and program policies.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be a registered Villanova student.
• Eligibility for work study preferred.
