About the position
The Fitness Club Manager at Anytime Fitness is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fitness center, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing facility cleanliness, and driving membership sales. This role requires a strong background in fitness management, personal training, and excellent communication skills. The manager will work closely with staff and members to create a welcoming environment and promote fitness programs.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and current members.
- Manage the facility's cleanliness and organization.
- Handle daily marketing and communications through various channels.
- Drive sales of memberships and personal training services.
- Perform clerical office work including CRM database management and billing tracking.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in managing fitness centers.
- Valid Certified Personal Trainer certification or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Must live within a 30-minute radius of the club.
- Must have a reliable car and be at least 18 years of age.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
