About the position
The Fitness Consultant/Inside Sales position at G&G Fitness Equipment involves engaging with customers to understand their fitness needs and providing them with suitable exercise equipment solutions. This role combines a passion for fitness with sales skills, offering opportunities for personal and professional growth within a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers in consultative discussions to determine their fitness needs.
- Sell fitness equipment at one or more of the four Pittsburgh area locations.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow-up on leads.
- Identify and act upon upselling opportunities.
- Assemble fitness equipment on the showroom floor as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; some college is a plus.
- Certified Personal Trainer certification preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to engage customers.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and maintain a professional appearance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience with fitness equipment sales.
- Willingness to work nights and weekends.
- Ability to travel to multiple locations.
