The Social Media Marketing Manager for Apple Fitness+ is a pivotal role that focuses on creating impactful social media experiences that resonate globally. The manager will be responsible for developing and leading strategic frameworks and guidelines for both Apple Fitness+ and the Fitness+ trainer handles. This role requires a strong emphasis on results and growth, ensuring that the social media content strategy aligns with the overall goals of the Fitness+ team. In this dynamic organization, the Social Media Marketing Manager will lead social media initiatives, from crafting detailed social media plans to producing engaging projects. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, demonstrating a sense of urgency and the ability to navigate through ambiguous situations. They will be a creative problem-solver, capable of building work from the ground up while maintaining clear communication and managing the vision throughout editorial changes. Collaboration is key in this role, as the manager will forge positive relationships with various teams within Fitness+ and across Apple, including Production, Post-Production, Trainers, Product Marketing, PR, Marcom, Business Affairs, and Legal. Additionally, the role will involve liaising with external partners, such as business partners and creative agencies. Success in this position is defined by owning the social media content strategy for Fitness+ and its trainers, influencing the development of the social media approach from start to finish, and managing the execution of engaging content that enhances customer awareness and engagement. The manager will also be responsible for ensuring that the latest social media trends are integrated into the strategy and will monitor and analyze the performance of all social content and campaigns to measure impact and recommend new strategies for increased effectiveness.
