About the position

The Fitness Operations Manager at The Camp Transformation Center plays a crucial role in building a fitness community as the gym prepares for its grand opening. This position focuses on engaging potential members, driving presales, and managing daily operations to ensure a smooth and welcoming environment for all members. The Operations Manager will be instrumental in inspiring others to join their fitness journey and creating a vibrant community atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Professionally present company programs and products to guests and prospects
  • Implement a sales process to book appointments and generate membership sales
  • Conduct sales follow-up calls, texts, and emails
  • Track and monitor club reports
  • Monitor challenge programs and conduct weigh-ins
  • Help lead nutritional seminars
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the club
  • Enforce The Camp policies and procedures
  • Ensure all forms, administrative supplies, and cleaning supplies are stocked and visible
  • Schedule and participate in networking/community events and club promotions
  • Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the club
  • Own and manage staff scheduling to ensure optimal coverage and efficient use of resources across all shifts
  • Perform any other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 2+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales experience
  • CPR/AED certified
  • Confident in generating personal sales and conducting sales follow-ups
  • Ability to manage and drive revenue streams: memberships, supplements, and challenges
  • Complete administrative work consistently and accurately
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, and via email
  • Ability to build positive relationships and rapport with members and staff
  • Highly organized and proficient in data management
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the general public
  • Passion for health and fitness
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
  • Willingness to attend occasional training in Southern California

Nice-to-haves

  • NASM Certification
  • Spanish speaking is a plus
