About the position

The Fitness Sales General Manager at BODY20 is a leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring superior customer service in a fast-growing fitness studio. This position emphasizes sales performance, staff development, and maintaining operational excellence while fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive studio sales and memberships, focusing on 60-70% sales activities.
  • Implement a sales process to schedule prospects into Intro sessions.
  • Lead generation through Grass Roots Marketing, Networking, and Events.
  • Ensure the studio is clean, maintained, and operationally sound.
  • Supervise and train Sales Representatives and Fitness Staff.
  • Proficiently use ClubReady for revenue and attendance reports.
  • Build and modify weekly/daily schedules based on member needs.
  • Attend monthly meetings and corporate webinars.
  • Host weekly staff meetings and 1-on-1 monthly meetings with team members.
  • Ensure necessary staffing levels while adhering to the studio budget.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of Customer Service experience with proven results.
  • 1-2 years of Sales experience in boutique fitness or related industry.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business or a related field, with 3+ years of management experience.
  • Ability to manage and drive all revenue streams from membership sales to retail.
  • Excellent communication and strong writing skills.
  • Highly organized and proficient in data management and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with studio owners and staff.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency with computers and studio software.
  • Experience operating revenue of $600,000 or higher annual revenue.
