About the position

Craig Manufacturing is seeking Fitters/Welders to join their Fit-Weld Department in Lawrenceburg, TN. This role involves producing parts, assemblies, and attachments for heavy construction equipment using industry-leading equipment. The position requires basic computer knowledge for accessing weld specifications and performing time and labor entries. The company offers both 1st and 2nd shift opportunities, with a focus on safety and physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Produce parts, assemblies, and attachments for heavy construction equipment.
• Perform service and repair work as required.
• Access weld specifications and enter time and labor data using basic computer skills.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in welding or a combination of education and experience.
• Commitment to safety in the workplace.
• Ability to perform physical labor, lift heavy objects, and stand for the full shift.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with multi-pass MIG welding.
• Welding with .052 wire.
• MIG welding on ¼” - 3” plate.
• General mechanical aptitude.
