This position involves greeting and assisting customers both in the fitting room and on the sales floor, responding to requests for additional merchandise, and ensuring that every fitting room is ready for customer use. The FRSA is responsible for promptly clearing merchandise from fitting rooms and preparing it for return to the appropriate areas on the selling floor. In addition to maintaining the fitting rooms, the FRSA will leverage their product knowledge to drive sales by making product recommendations and assisting customers in their selections. This role also includes maintaining the cleanliness and organization of adjacent areas on the sales floor, ensuring that the environment is neat, clean, and ready for shopping. Communication with the store leadership team is essential to support the customer experience, drive sales, and reduce potential loss. The FRSA must be proficient in Bloomingdale's Point of Sale systems and company devices to process sales in a warm and celebratory manner. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, as the FRSA must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. This role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers and ensuring that their shopping experience is enjoyable and efficient.
