About the position

The Corporate & Investment Bank - Fixed Income Financing Product Control - Analyst role at JPMorgan Chase involves supporting the Fixed Income Financing desk and key stakeholders with P&L, Risk, and Financing analysis. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a global team, contributing to the Global Finance team and FIF business. Analysts will engage in P&L, Risk, Balance Sheet, and Funding analysis while functioning as financial advisors to the business, and will collaborate cross-functionally with Technology, Operations, and other Finance & Business Management teams to drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily P&L and Risk reporting and month-end and quarter-end close processes.
• Provide detailed analysis and reporting on the financials to desk heads, senior finance management, and other key stakeholders.
• Assist with daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly markets commentary with robust Risk & P&L explanations.
• Partner with the business to drive forth and implement robust controls and new business initiatives utilizing new technology.
• Drive coordination across various front & back office support functions to ensure resolution of control and reporting issues in an accurate and timely manner.
• Serve as an analytical and project support resource for product control.
• Support various ad-hoc requests on a daily basis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related area.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail including a strong control focus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships.
• Demonstrate ability and experience with process improvements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience working with other Finance systems.
