About the position

The Fixed Income FX Business Analyst role is focused on providing analytical support and insights within the Investment and Asset Management industry. The position requires a deep understanding of financial markets and investment strategies, along with the ability to manage data analysis and reporting effectively. The analyst will work closely with senior executives and stakeholders to ensure that business needs are met and that compliance with industry regulations is maintained.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA is a plus).
• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Investment and Asset Management industry.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, asset classes (equities, fixed income, alternative investments, etc.), and portfolio management.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting using tools such as Excel, VBA, SQL, or similar platforms.
• Experience with investment management systems, trading platforms, and regulatory reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with senior executives and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards (e.g., SEC, FINRA) is a plus.
