About the position

The Fixed Operations Manager at Morgan Automotive is responsible for leading the service and parts team, overseeing the daily operations of the Service Center and Parts Department. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences while managing a team of advisors, technicians, and support staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, efficiency in operations, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee flow of Drive Lane to ensure prompt and courteous service to customers.
• Take ownership of the customer's experience and ensure positive impressions.
• Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, both phone and in person.
• Ensure daily inventory of technicians' time is sold to service customers.
• Distribute work efficiently among technicians.
• Hire, train, motivate, and monitor performance of service department staff.
• Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Communicate with customers regarding parts status and provide friendly service.
• Review body shop estimates to ensure correct parts ordering and pricing.
• Maintain weekly bin checks for stock accuracy and order out-of-stock parts as needed.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
