About the position

The Flagship Program Manager at Leadership Tomorrow is responsible for leading the implementation of the organization's flagship program, which aims to catalyze cross-sector leaders for collective impact. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to design and deliver a comprehensive curriculum, manage recruitment efforts, and facilitate program logistics, ensuring a successful experience for participants. The position requires a commitment to fostering community leadership and promoting racial equity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cohort recruitment efforts and support recruitment strategies for the Flagship program.
  • Work with LT staff to support the volunteer Screening & Selection committee in screening, reviewing, and selecting program participants.
  • Manage financial aid and tuition payments for participants.
  • Collaborate with the Flagship Program consultant and Curriculum Committee to design and deliver program events, including orientation, Possibility Days, retreats, and graduation.
  • Develop agendas for each event and modify existing curriculum to meet cohort needs.
  • Plan and execute all program logistics, including venue communication, materials printing, catering arrangements, and room setup.
  • Invite and facilitate communication with guest speakers, panelists, and subject matter experts.
  • Lead communication with Flagship cohort participants regarding program details and respond to inquiries.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and materials for committee meetings.
  • Design and implement surveys and evaluations to incorporate learnings into the curriculum.
  • Facilitate select portions of program days and events in collaboration with the Flagship program consultant and LT team.
  • Provide updates to the LT Board and engage with community partners.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of relevant experience in adult education, program management, training, or facilitation.
  • Proven project management skills, including managing timelines and multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with volunteers and motivate teams.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage details under pressure.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to promoting racial equity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

  • Knowledge of critical social and political issues facing the Puget Sound region.
  • Prior experience in nonprofits.
  • Ability to present material engagingly to diverse audiences.
