About the position

The Flatbed Independent Operator CDL Driver position is designed for owner-operators with their own trucks who are looking for flexible hauling opportunities. This role offers same-day pay and allows drivers to choose their loads, providing a variety of freight from local to nationwide routes. The company is open to training dry van drivers with relevant experience to transition into flatbed hauling.

Responsibilities

• Haul flatbed loads ranging from various commodities including potatoes to rockets.
• Choose loads based on personal preference and availability.
• Maintain compliance with all trucking regulations and safety standards.
• Submit required documentation including medical card, trailer registration, and truck pictures after application.

Requirements

• Must have at least 12 months of OTR tractor-trailer driving experience within the past 3 years.
• At least 6 months of flatbed driving experience is required.
• Must be 23 years of age or older.
• No at-fault accidents in the past 12 months.
• Must own your own equipment; no lease purchase options available.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with flatbed hauling is preferred but not mandatory.
