About the position

The Fleet Assistant at SIXT is responsible for managing fleet operations, including repairs, inventory management, and documentation for vehicles. This role involves working closely with the Fleet Manager and other stakeholders to ensure efficient fleet services while providing opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily fleet inventory checks to ensure accurate vehicle tracking and management.
  • Assist the Fleet Manager in scheduling maintenance and repairs, obtaining estimates, and coordinating with dealerships and body shops.
  • Prepare new vehicles for rental, handling documentation, spare keys, and ensuring proper tagging in the inventory system.
  • Assist with vehicle disposal preparations, including condition reports and verifying equipment completeness.
  • Support accident reporting, subrogation tasks, and coordinate tag registrations and renewals for all vehicles.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of experience performing administrative tasks in an office environment, preferably in the automotive dealership, vehicle registration, or car rental industry.
  • Basic computer navigation skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage fleet inventory, repair schedules, work orders, and documentation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the automotive dealership, vehicle registration, or car rental industry is preferred.
  • Ability to speak other languages.
