About the position

The Forward Air Marketing Department is seeking an individual with marketing strategy experience to support the Fleet Marketing team. The Fleet Marketing Coordinator (FMC) will report directly to the Director of Capacity Development and will be responsible for executing the marketing strategy for the team. This role is pivotal in transforming the Enterprise's fleet marketing program from a traditional print-focused marketing strategy to a forward-looking strategy that incorporates appropriate digital channels, local marketing, and over-the-road marketing. The FMC will create an optimization strategy for Enterprise's marketing campaigns and track their performance analytically, ensuring that the marketing efforts are effective and aligned with the company's goals. In addition to strategic execution, the FMC will manage job feeds, curate social media content, and oversee reputation management across various social media platforms. A creative skillset is essential for brainstorming new and innovative content that resonates with the target audience. The role requires collaboration with the entire recruiting team to ensure that marketing materials effectively communicate the strategic vision and brand of Forward Air. The FMC will also analyze marketing campaign data, such as click-through rates and open rates, to drive forward-thinking decisions and optimize marketing strategies. The position involves coordinating unique events and meetings while maintaining budgetary constraints, organizing special request collateral, and managing inventory for employee clothing, gifts, and promotional items. The FMC will utilize current marketing modes to promote brand recognition and services, including e-marketing and social media, while also being adaptable to other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Vendors, Job Boards, and other tech to post open positions
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and produce marketing material ensuring all proposal materials are effectively communicating the strategic vision and brand of Forward
  • Analyze marketing campaign data (CTR, Open rates, etc.) to drive Forward thinking decisions
  • Execute on re-marketing email campaigns based on monthly strategy changes and optimization
  • Coordinate unique events, meetings, and accompanying items within budget
  • Organize complete special request collateral, logoed items, out-of-the-blue projects, and on-the-fly creations
  • Maintain supervision of inventory for employee clothing, gifts, and promotional items
  • Utilize current marketing modes to promote brand recognition, services, and such: e-market, social media
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in Google Analytics and other web analytics tools, Email marketing, campaign strategy
  • Experience in presenting to clients and stakeholders, and in working in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to incorporate different perspectives, be inclusive in all situations, and hold self and the team to a high standard of integrity and excellence
  • Effective influencing and interpersonal skills. Ability to work across various functions, regions, and stakeholders
  • Problem solving skills, comfort with data, and ability to develop insights and translate them into action
  • Creative and critical thinker that thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites and Microsoft Office, and other communications-related software programs (Hootsuite & Constant Contact a plus)
  • Awareness of industry benchmarks, best practices, market trends, and competitor activity

  • Effective communication skills, ability to solve problems, assertive, focused on execution and results driven
