Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, repair, and maintain vehicles, trailers, aerials, and other power-operated equipment.
• Perform work primarily in company service garages and occasionally at job sites.
• Diagnose and make minor and major repairs to electrical, hydraulic, air conditioning, gasoline, and diesel systems.
• Lift heavy equipment frequently, exceeding 50 pounds, and maintain prolonged standing during work hours.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical, vocational, or trade school diploma in automotive truck and/or heavy equipment service repair and maintenance, or 3 years of continuous work history in this field.
• Minimum of 2 years verifiable experience in the automotive/truck field.
• Possession of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) or ability to obtain one within 3 months of hire.
• Hold 6 current Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Automotive or Truck certifications or equivalent certifications.
• Ability to read and understand English, perform basic mathematics, and possess basic computer skills.
• Furnish standard and metric tools as per the fleet department's required tool list.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety awareness and working safely.
