About the position

The Fleet Operations Associate Driver at Nebraska Medicine is responsible for providing safe and timely transportation for doctors and hospital staff to various clinics and hospitals. This role includes the delivery of equipment and other patient care items, as well as performing maintenance, cleaning, and general office duties as needed throughout the day. The position is part-time and requires flexibility in working hours, including both day and evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely transportation of doctors and hospital staff to various clinics and hospitals.
• Deliver equipment and other patient care donor items.
• Perform maintenance and cleaning of the vehicle.
• Complete proper paperwork and other general office duties as needed throughout the day.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years of age required.
• High school education or equivalent required.
• Effective communication skills required.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task required.
• Excellent navigational abilities, including map reading required.
• Ability to follow a schedule required.
• Current valid motor vehicle operator license with no moving violations in the previous three years required.
• Ability to meet and maintain insurability required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds from the ground to the waist.
