About the position
The Fleet Operations Coordinator at TEKsystems is responsible for managing fleet operations for a global fleet management company. This role involves overseeing variable fleet units, conducting inspections, coordinating repairs, and fostering relationships with clients and vendors to ensure efficient fleet management. The position offers opportunities for growth and is set in a laid-back work environment.
Responsibilities
- Key management of variable fleet units at two client locations (Weston, WI and Appleton, WI)
- Perform detailed pre and post in-service inspections of the variable fleet
- Coordinate light detailing/washing/cleaning of variable fleet units
- Schedule with third-party vendors for corrective mechanical and body repairs
- Ensure the refueling of returned units
- Foster relationships with clients, vendors, and fleet personnel
- Advise on activities to maintain the health of the fleet
- Schedule and perform record keeping of all activities completed
- Collaborate with Buyer and Customer to improve program and create greater efficiencies
- Some travel required
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years managing rental or fleet vehicles with an understanding in repair, maintenance, and customer service
- 2-5 years customer service or client account management experience, preferably in a B2B service environment
- Proficiency in various MS Office software applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to drive and be on your feet up to 8 hours
- Availability on weekends and some holidays

- Experience in fleet management or vehicle rental
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
