About the position

The Fleet Operations Coordinator at Chartway Federal Credit Union is responsible for overseeing the operations of Direct Teller (Interactive Teller Machines), Automated Teller Machines (ATM), and Electronic Cash Recyclers (ECR). This role involves managing the deployment and troubleshooting of ATM/ITM outages, providing technical guidance, and ensuring compliance with risk management responsibilities. The coordinator will establish strategies for fleet management, manage vendor relationships, and analyze service levels to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Establish strategy for the Direct Teller/ATM/ECR fleet including managing uptime and vendor selection.
  • Deliver accurate, efficient, and timely results that comply with credit union policies and procedures.
  • Address production problems and enhance service through controlled changes to system parameters and workflows.
  • Provide input to annual budgets and ensure controllable expenses are reasonable.
  • Analyze and report on service levels, key volume indicators, and key risk indicators.
  • Understand and assess risk and compliance issues within assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Coordinate installation/removal of all equipment and maintain contracts with vendors.
  • Work closely with partners for network connections and issues resolution.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal laws related to credit union compliance.
  • Dispatch partners for on-site maintenance and cash replenishments.
  • Coordinate general maintenance for ATM/Direct Teller/ECR machines and ensure compliance signage is up to date.
  • Assist in testing and implementation of new software releases for ATM/Direct Teller/ECR.
  • Oversee quarterly inspection and monitoring of offsite Direct Teller machines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Approximately 3-5 years as an operations supervisor or equivalent position.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  • Ability to manage and reconcile an annual expense budget.
  • Experience with managing and negotiating with third-party partners.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify business trends and make recommendations.
  • Ability to build strong partner relationships to achieve member experience goals.
  • Strong sense of urgency for quick resolution of service delivery issues.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in fleet management or operations management.
  • Familiarity with compliance and risk management in financial services.
