Fleet Planner

About the position

The Fleet Planner at SIXT is responsible for the day-to-day planning and operations of the fleet, ensuring efficiency and safety. This role involves monitoring vehicle movements, planning dispatch based on demand forecasts, coordinating vehicle transfers, and managing inventory effectively to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track shift activities, including vehicle movements and cleaning schedules.
• Plan and dispatch vehicles based on hourly, daily, and weekly demand forecasts.
• Coordinate vehicle transfers between branches to maintain service levels.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners regarding car rental transactions.
• Manage fleet inventory, repair schedules, work orders, and documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in an administrative role, preferably in automotive dealership, vehicle registration, or car rental industry.
• Basic computer navigation skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage fleet operations efficiently.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and authorization to work in the U.S.
