About the position

The Fleet Support Representative - Mission Planning Trainer will provide on-site technical support and training for military squadrons and commands utilizing the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS). This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to establish training requirements and support operational test events, ensuring effective mission planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support and fleet release training to squadrons and commands utilizing JMPS.
• Conduct scheduled classroom training and on-the-job training.
• Act as the primary liaison between the fleet, logistics team, and the Program Office.
• Support JMPS Enhanced Developmental Tests and Operational Test events.
• Assist the PMA-281 Help Desk and Technical Documentation Teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Current Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Minimum 7 years of direct experience as a Naval Aviator or Naval Flight Officer, including 4 years in mission/strike planning and 3 years in NavMPS training or curriculum development.

Nice-to-haves

• In-depth experience developing technical documentation and training for military computer systems.
• DoD approved 8570 Baseline certification or civilian equivalent.
