About the position
The CDL-A Driver position in our FLEX Division involves delivering aftermarket parts to Honda dealerships, requiring both solo and team driving capabilities. This role is permanent and offers competitive pay with full benefits. Drivers will be responsible for unloading trailers, scanning deliveries, and managing returns, particularly in challenging city environments like Chicago. Flex drivers will fill in for absent drivers and can expect to be home weekly, with weekends off.
Responsibilities
- Deliver aftermarket parts to Honda dealerships.
- Unload trailers and scan in new loads being delivered.
- Pick up returns and secure the dealership before leaving.
- Maneuver a tractor-trailer in tight spaces, particularly in car lots.
- Fill in for drivers who are out sick or on vacation.
Requirements
- At least 12 months of recent Tractor Trailer company driving experience.
- Ability to handle, position, and secure delivery roller cages and lift loose boxed parts weighing between 40-75 lbs.
- Comfortable with city driving, especially in Chicago.
