About the position

The FlexPoint Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing existing customer accounts within the FlexPoint sales team, focusing on relationship-building and consultative strategies to foster successful partnerships and drive revenue growth. This role requires exceptional communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions. The position involves leading meetings, supporting internal sales teams, and maintaining a thorough understanding of FlexPoint products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and foster client relationships through virtual, in-person, and written methods.
  • Lead meetings, discussions, and training sessions with internal sales teams.
  • Assist in the management of accounts and support internal sales teams across multiple territories.
  • Serve as a lead on key initiatives and projects to propel new business and retain existing business.
  • Anticipate customer needs and work with sales team members to mitigate issues and create customized solutions.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of FlexPoint products and services and gather customer feedback.
  • Travel to attend client meetings and high-stakes presentations, as well as regional and national conferences.
  • Inspire positive communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Assist in training and onboarding of new team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Communication, or Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Six years of experience in Education Leadership, Management, Administration, Training, Account Management, Sales, or Business.
  • Experience with presentation design and delivery, including large group facilitation (preferred).
  • Experience leading projects (preferred).
  • Experience with facilitating customer meetings (preferred).
  • Experience with product implementation (preferred).
  • Experience engaged with PK-12 online courseware (preferred).
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce technology (preferred).
  • Thorough understanding of negotiating and lead generation techniques.
  • Proven record of sales success.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet aggressive deadlines.
