The Flex Security Officer at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of various client sites. This position involves monitoring and patrolling different locations on a flexible schedule, which may vary based on client needs. The officer is responsible for preserving order and enforcing regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. They will assist in the start-up processes at new accounts, which includes working on-site, writing post orders, and training newly assigned permanent security officers. The position may also require working special security assignments as needed. Officers should be prepared to work on weekends and holidays with limited notice, especially during high-demand periods. Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol different client sites on a variety of schedules.
- Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for client sites.
- Provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers.
- Support staffing requirements at accounts during shortages due to vacations, call-offs, or holidays.
- Assist in start-ups at new accounts, including writing post orders and training checklists.
- Work special security assignments as required.
- Be available to work on weekends and holidays with limited notice.
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic phone and computer skills.
- Reliable and self-motivated.
- High level customer service skills.
- Must have your own vehicle and valid Driver License.
- Must be able to travel to the Burr Ridge and Franklin Park area.
- Must have open availability.
