About the position

The Flex Security Officer role at Securitas involves providing security services for various short-term assignments while supporting staffing needs during shortages. This position offers opportunities for advanced training in safety and security, allowing officers to gain specialized knowledge in high-profile posts and evaluate their potential for leadership and growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Provide security for short-term special security assignments.
• Support staffing requirements at accounts during shortages due to vacations, call-offs, no shows, holidays, etc.
• Assist in start-ups at new accounts, including working the site and training newly assigned permanent Security Officers.
• Provide high-level customer service to clients and their guests.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills are necessary.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and clear driving record.
• Must be available to travel to all locations and have reliable transportation.
• Prior security experience is a plus.
• All candidates must be able to pass a drug test and background check.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous military or law enforcement experience is encouraged.
