About the position

As a Flex Security Officer at Brosnan Risk Consultants, you will serve as the first point of contact for guests at assigned client sites, ensuring a positive environment and maintaining security. Flex Officers are essential in covering shifts for full-time and part-time employees, providing flexibility in scheduling and a chance to gain specialized knowledge across various posts.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, ensuring security and safety for client property and personnel.
• Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
• Preserves order and enforces regulations and directives for the site regarding personnel, visitors, and premises.
• Controls access to client sites or facilities through the admittance process.
• Patrols assigned site on foot or in a vehicle, checking for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, and unauthorized persons.
• Protects evidence or the scene of an incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Responds to various incidents including fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, and hazardous materials situations.
• Prepares logs and reports as required.

Requirements

• Must meet city/state requirements and/or certifications to perform guard duties.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have reliable means of communication.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports.
