About the position

The FLEX Senior Manager, Digital Product Intelligence is responsible for leading a team that delivers actionable insights to enhance business growth and customer experiences across Marriott's digital platforms. This role emphasizes optimizing e-commerce conversion funnels and improving digital experiences through continuous testing and improvement throughout the customer journey. The ideal candidate should be resourceful, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong collaboration skills to bridge business needs with analytical insights.

Responsibilities

  • Develop consultative relationships with key business decision-makers to influence new product features and data-driven recommendations.
  • Partner with product and analytics teams to ensure relevant data capture and collaborate with data engineering teams for streamlined analysis.
  • Support the end-to-end process of big data exploration, including hypothesis creation, algorithm design, data cleansing, testing, and actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct analysis to drive growth and innovation, guiding product investments and roadmaps focused on customer lifetime value and optimizing conversion funnels.
  • Deliver value by integrating and analyzing various data types to provide insights into digital product performance and user behavior.
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools to uncover opportunities across e-commerce sites and apps, guiding actionable planning in collaboration with partners.
  • Translate complex data into compelling narratives that drive decision-making and influence key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills to drive change and identify opportunities in alignment with business objectives.
  • Analyze customer needs and behaviors to uncover new trends and insights in digital travel products.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to deepen understanding of customers, products, and business operations through data-driven insights.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Operations Research, Business, Math, or other quantitative discipline.
  • 5 years of digital, product, or e-commerce experience with a pattern of exceptional performance.
  • Hands-on experience with digital analytics tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Mixpanel.
  • Proficiency in SQL for designing and optimizing queries and managing datasets.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
  • Strong data analysis skills, including querying and manipulation of large datasets and applying statistical analysis techniques.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • People management experience.
  • Knowledge of Python, R, SAS, or other statistical modeling tools.
  • Experience designing and analyzing marketing or digital experimentation (A/B or MVT).
  • Understanding of statistical methods regarding study design and analysis.
