About the position

The FLEX Videographer, Salesperson Video Program (SPV) at Nordstrom is responsible for creating high-quality and professional videos that enhance the online customer experience. This role involves collaborating with Salespeople and Stylists to connect customers with Nordstrom's fashion expertise through engaging video content. The position requires setting up video equipment, coaching talent, managing audio, and ensuring the quality of the footage produced.

Responsibilities

• Set up video set daily including camera, audio, lighting and fixtures in line with the program guidelines for framing.
• Ensure proper lighting and focus for videos and b-roll.
• Partner with on-set Associate Producer to provide feedback and guidance to talent on content.
• Coach talent on set to create engaging and valued content.
• Manage audio and audit content while filming.
• Backup all footage after each shift and upload footage for post-production.
• Assist in prep and shipping of product as needed.
• Maintain audio and video supplies and equipment, and communicate needed repairs or replacements to regional Producer in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Associates degree with a focus in Audio and Video Production preferred.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, MS Office Suite.
• 5 years Audio and Video Production experience.
• 3 years of experience working in the fashion industry.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds (video equipment, props).
• Ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions.
• Clear and effective verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
