The Flexible Customer Service Associate at Hertz is responsible for consulting with customers regarding their rental needs, maximizing revenue opportunities by offering products and services, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role also involves preparing vehicles for customer pick-up, which includes cleaning, assessing damage, fueling, and refilling fluids.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers on their rental needs.
• Maximize revenue opportunities by actively offering products and services.
• Overcome customer objections to ensure satisfaction.
• Provide world-class customer service and sales support.
• Shuttle customers as needed.
• Prepare vehicles for customer pick-up, including cleaning and assessing damage.
• Fuel vehicles and refill all necessary fluids.

Requirements

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate ownership, accountability, and initiative.
• Capability to perform essential functions such as sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, driving, pushing, pulling, speaking, hearing, writing, lifting, seeing, and reading.
• Knowledge of equipment operation including computer terminals, telephones, calculators, copy machines, and fax machines.
