About the position

Right at Home, In-Home Care & Assistance, is seeking to hire Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join a dynamic care team providing clinical expertise in-home. This role is essential for helping individuals maintain their independence and comfort in their own homes. As a PCA, you will be responsible for performing personal care activities that assist patients with their daily living needs. This includes tasks such as personal hygiene, ambulation, dressing, and meal preparation. You will also accompany patients on errands or medical appointments and perform light housekeeping activities as needed. The position offers flexible scheduling options, allowing you to choose between part-time, full-time, or PRN shifts, making it an ideal opportunity for those seeking work-life balance. In addition to personal care tasks, you will be trained to perform patient-specific activities as directed by a Right at Home nurse. This may include providing hospice supportive care, medication reminders, assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises, and caring for bed-bound patients. The role requires the use of lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts, ensuring the safety and comfort of both the patient and the caregiver. Right at Home values its caregivers and offers a Caregiver Recognition & Rewards Program, along with employee referral bonuses. Daily pay is also available, providing financial flexibility for our team members.
